In June of 2012, The Coors Foundation held a competition to design their new Headquarters. The program featured 10k sf of retail, 16k sf   of office  space, 4k of rooftop patios and 78 parking spaces. The site is located on the intersection of 2nd and St Paul, the very privileged heart of Cherry Creek North. It is surrounded by a retail epicenter, a strong demand for higher-end architecture and a pedestrian-friendly culture that promotes fine dining and an active nightlife. Our winning entry had a powerful story to tell through a svelte retail presence at street level, a series of cascading rooftop terraces extending along 3 stories, a careful and thoughtful planning relating to its context, and local elegant materials.
