Shea Properties has commissioned us the renovation of the DTC 5555 Parkway commercial building. The project is located in Greenwood Village; at the Denver Tech Center, and is prominently visible from I-25. The Colorado Athletic Club is immediately adjacent to it.
The existing building consists of a commercial complex, with parking at grade, an elevated concrete podium and 3, four-story buildings, connected by a fourth building in the center. These buildings have a combined area of 48,000 sf approximately.
The intent of the project is to demolish the center building; in order to reconnect the surrounding three buildings with a new gesture: A glass core, which opens up the visibility from adjacent facades and simplifies the circulation, allowing for a more open visual and physical access from building to building.
Additional improvements will be implemented at the main vehicular entry with a new monument sign, miscellaneous landscape additions, and overall structural repairs.
